A New Kind Of Vacation

For years, my family and I had been experiencing some of the good and bad vacation ever. Accommodation are the define factor. The good ones usually involved minimum of three star hotels,. Nonetheless, none of those good vacation can be categorized best, because living in a minimum of three star hotels also means increased cost of accommodation budget, thus decreases the meal, travel, and gift budget. Fortunately, I’ve had an experience that changed the equation for good.

It came on our last summer vacation, when we traveled down to Florida, but got stuck in a small town because our car was stalled. As we were stuck, we try to find a place to spend the night. Unfortunately there wasn’t any three stars hotel for us to stay. That left us with Asheville bed breakfast.

With bitter expectations, we were dropped by the mechanic to Asheville bed breakfast. To our astonishment, the place was breathtaking. The house lays on a hill, with spacious lawn, with unique and antique ornaments. Apart from the lovely scene and the affordable price, we were still prepared for the worst: the service. The answer came when we had settled our luggage in the room, which, to my wife’s amazement, was comfy and warm. We were planning on where to get dinner and how to get there when there’s a knock on the door, followed with a sweet voice of the room boy telling us that dinner is served.

Dinner? We didn’t order any. I told the room boy so, but smiling he said that this already included in the service. We stayed for five days even though our car had been fixed on the second. That vacation sure changed my point of view. Try it!

That is a nice B&B in our area, we have several. If you ever decide to come back to town, you might be interested in Carolina Mornings vacation rental homes (from cabins to luxury condos - http://www.carolinamornings.com). We also have a blog - I write all about what there is to do in Asheville and the area (carolinamornings.blogspot.com). I’m glad you had a nice time in Asheville!
